“All the Way Home” is a wintry picture book about Daddy Penguin, who is left in charge of the egg while Mummy hunts for fish until a gust of wind whisks him and the egg far from the Dad Huddle and drops them in the Arctic. As they trek through the cold, meeting wary Arctic animals and hitching a ride with a reindeer and the “Special Air Navigation Transport Authority”, the story becomes a cosy, secret adventure that Daddy later tells his hatched Little One about how they made it safely home.
