Hidden Mysteries

Hidden Mysteries is a collection of Osho’s early discourses that explores the symbolic and spiritual meaning of religious practices often treated as empty ritual. Originally delivered in Hindi between April and October 1971, the talks ask readers to look beneath the outward form of temples, statues, pilgrimage sites, incense, mantras, astrology, and sacred architecture.

Osho argues that such practices were originally intended as “keys” to an inward journey: tools for attention, meditation, resonance, and heightened awareness. He discusses ancient temples as spaces shaped by sound and acoustics, sacred sites as fields of spiritual energy, the third eye and chakras as concepts within yogic traditions, and astrology as part of an older worldview of interconnectedness.
