The writer has capture the Masto culture of Nepal in this book. People of Nepal believe in Masto as a living God since time immortal. Masto is believed to be a God of rural people through which it has no specific murti. It is represented by Dhami(shaman), rather. Generally, Dhamis are regarded as common people in the society. When Masto enters into their body, Dhamis impersonate Godly power and then start to jaw partun. In this stage, rural people have great faith on them. Masto is called Gosain and/or God in rural areas.
