Erika and the Angermare

Erika and the Angermare is an illustrated fantasy adventure that helps children explore anger, worries, and emotional control. Erika has had a terrible day, and after falling asleep upset, she becomes trapped in the Dreamscape—a strange, colourful world where bad dreams turn dangerous. Hunted by the fearsome Angermare and surrounded by hungry Heebie Jeebies, Erika meets the Dream Defenders, a secret group that protects children from nightmares. To return home, she must learn to understand and manage her anger before it overwhelms her. This is the first book in Tom Percival’s Dream Defenders series and was previously published as Attack of the Heebie Jeebies.
