The author has dealt with two important aspects of the history of Nepal of the period under his survey, one aspect is the expansion of Gorkha which unwittingly ultimately led to the formation of modern Nepal, and the other aspect is the tracing of the long history of the conspirational politics of the court of Nepal. Both the events were of much importance in the history as they were epoch making events.
